Some exciting projects currently being worked on include: Policy Ninja (an advocacy-made-easy suite of web tools); ‘AINAbility (a foodhub, CSA and matchmaking service to help connect soilmates); Hawaii Dept. of Agriculture’s Food System Metrics platform (tracking locally grown and imported foods by acres, weight & dollars through the supply chain, disaggregated as far as feasible with capacity to scale up to accommodate a robust food sovereignty framework anchored by nutrients as a data normalizer); Waltah the Worm (a systems-based educational program akin to a Hawaii version of a sustainability-oriented Sesame Street with experiential STEM-based curricula – “think outside… no box required”); a partnership with Malama Honua charter school to be on our farm & learning center, which integrates all of the above, plus some.
